One of the buckles “bashed” a rock but protected me. Some slight wear on the inner ankle area rubbing frame. I got these in a 11 and they are plenty wide enough and not too loose either. I wear a 10.5wide in normal boots and shoes. I imagine by the time i think the outer sole is no good the leather will either be dried out or the boots will smell so bad they will need replaced anyway. They offer the same boot in a standard height(The Corasol I think). I ended up falling in some slippery lake bed mud, the traction on sole allowed me to get up, I rode across 4-5 water spots at least 6 inch deep on lake bed mud, upper legs got wet, zero water in boots, of course wet around the top cuff area but dry ankles and feet. Very comfortable, feet didn’t feel tired or smashed. I wore them for around 6.5 hours (first time out). Recessed Nicely and soft to stick to the pegs. The sole is very nice for walking, climbing, and running(chased my 11 year old nephew). Minimal protection against “squishing” the foot from toe to heel. The heel has a hard exterior plastic guard that I feel is adequate but the toe area offers minimal guard and no composite or steal toe. The textured area covering inner tow will prevent wear from the shifter, I like how it is on both boots I feel that this area will not wear from heat/contact with engine. Allows for the ankle flex while reducing ankle twist. The hard plastic on outside area of boot is a “slip” hinge. (Couple branches sticking in trail bounced right off, shielded rocks from bikes in front of me. The exterior plastic looks good, was easy cleaning, and offers protection. They were easy to clean, i need to reoil or recondition the oil as I SHOULD have pretreated the exteriors with water repellent, my first ride with these boots landed me in lake bed mud country. I like the oiled leather as it is similarly comfortable to work boots. Now the tech8(full mx)offered much more protection vs the Belize(adventure touring). The alpinestar tech8 I had were extremely comfortable with the inner bootie after I took them to the “cowboy” clothing store and they worked them on the “boot” machine. They are very “flexible” compared to the mostly plastic construction of boots I have had in the past. I chose these due to being oiled leather, calf height, and price. I got these boots to try as I felt tired of lugging around full size boots when I would go riding for more then couple hours. Locate each of the 3 wires from the plug (yellow, blue and red) to where they are soldiered on the circuit board and to where the track terminates near the trigger wheel (its like a circular track on the board), try to find its last point on the circuit. These tangs activate different circuits and motor depending upon its rotation. (make sure you have 3 tangs and they are all make contact with the board, ie not bent somehow.). Pull off the centre cog (i think its white one with an arm on it) be careful to lift the circuit board also as its tucked under the board, this cog will have a trigger wheel attached with 3 tangs underneath. (Use the video someone has posted above to dismantle the plastic motor casing), once open be careful as the wheels are spring loaded so can pop off (just take a picture before you fully remove case so you have a reference as to how it goes back together!). If all ok so far it could be likely a circuit board problem, trace where these 3 wires terminate on the board with the clear plastic casing, this is the case that will need opening. Check the wires from the 3 pin plug to where they are soldiered onto the circuit board, do each wire in turn, this will just ensure you have no broken wires from pin plug to circuit board, once again you should hear a beep for each wire if everything is ok.ģ. The trigger wheel does not come with a new mechanism, if trigger wheel is broken then you may need to repair or source another.Ģ. (SKP Quartz mechanism with approx 15mm shaft length, ensure it has the correct dia shafts for hours (dia 5.6mm), minute (dia 3.5mm) and second arm or your original clock hands hands wont fit!). I pulled mine thinking it was just tight and broke the mechanism, so had to buy a new one. Its not possible to remove the clock mechanism from what i found without taking off the clock face as you need access to the nut which is under the trigger wheel, (so in the factory the clock mechanism was assembled, trigger wheel added, clock face stuck on then clock hands added). Hopefully once removed you will see what the problem may be (dirty connections, missing tangs etc). If you get no signal then unfortunately you need to remove the card clock dial to access the trigger, pull off the clock hands, and apply a little heat to activate the double sided tape apply only a little heat though or the clock face will warp, it should now come off. Attach your voltmeter to the centre pin and outer pin 1 on which are attached to rear of clock face, and spin clock, do the same with the centre pin and outer pin 2, spin the dial, in both instances you should hear a beep from the volt meter to confirm there is a connection as you spin, if so you have a working connection at the clock face, so your problem is not here. You can test this signal is working though with a volt meter, (if i remember there are 3 wires connected to the pins via a plug, red, blue and yellow, Yellow/Red triggers the pre motor activation (at around 11.20), and the Blue/Red activates the motor for AM/PM at 12.00, or the other way around i cant remember which now). This trigger can become detached from the shaft, if this trigger wheel doesn't spin then no signal is sent to activate the signal to switch the AM/PM motor. There is a trigger wheel which is attached to the clock mechanism shaft under the clock face, this spins as its connected to the hour hand shaft. There are a few areas where the problem can arise, butġ. Choose your computer system, download it, open the folder, right click the Fliqlo Setup.exe file, press INSTALL and then it should open in your desktop/screensaver settings and then you can apply it.Hi, I have recently acquired one of these and managed to successfully repair the AM/PM trigger. Going hand-in-hand with this great cinematography is the surprising performance by Claire Foy, who is admittingly quite good in her role of a person you have to decide if you think is crazy or not crazy. The cinematography is its own style, and when a film can define itself with that sort of technique, it has certainly succeeded. To me, the experiment Steve Soderbergh tested here WORKED. The whole film looks like a fever dream, and unlike 'Tangerine' (The first feature film to be filmed on an iPhone), this film truly has a "reason" to be filmed in this style. Fluorescent lighting and angles look warped and distorted, as if our characters are living in a German expressionist film, close ups look terrifying as we see every emotional detail of these characters in sketchy quality that only a phone camera could really capture in full. I know I always use the term "nightmarish" to describe claustrophobic cinematography in films, but this film looks like a NIGHTMARE. So you probably will start asking yourself: "How does it look?" To me.I think the film would have been LESS interesting if it was filmed in the typical method of high quality digital cameras. By all accounts, this is as INDIE as a big name director can get. The budget also barely pokes over $1 million total. To explain: 'Unsane' was entirely filmed on an iPhone 7 camera in only ten days, which is incredible in that it was made entirely in secrecy by a big name director such as Soderbergh. And while this isn't the first time this sort of filming technique has been used for a film, I had to say, I was rather intrigued when I was sitting down for "Unsane", the new film by Steve Soderbergh ('Ocean's Eleven', 'Contagion', 'Magic Mike'). There's a part of me that absolutely adores it when a filmmaker goes the experimental route and tries something that's never really been done before. I guess that's covered in the omitted Chapter 2.5, "Flying in a Straight Line.") (Note: From the following chapters I gather that, after launch, the throttle lever position should be set to "idling" - zero thrust - and the drive/fuel system should be set to "cruising" mode, but it's not clearly specified. You can use the index sub-console (attached to the right console) to load pre-programmed mission routes, including your return course at the end of the mission. Using your thrusters as little as possible (to conserve propellant), join your teammates in formation. Just release the brake pedal, and you'll be shot into space. When your operator gives you the signal, you're clear to launch. (This lets you use your thrusters to pick up a little extra speed during launch.) Check the warning monitors again, and set the throttle lever to "taxi-ing" position. First set the drive/fuel system mode to "catapult shoot" (right console again), then release the lock on the throttle lever (left armrest) and slide it into "idling" position. Once you're on the catapult, it's time to warm up your thrusters. (I think you're meant to keep the brake pedal down until you're ready to launch.) Use the throttle pedal to walk forward, the control sticks to turn, and the brake pedal to stop. Set the drive system mode to "walk" (via the right console) and proceed to the catapult as per your operator's directions, picking up your weapons on the way. If anything's wrong, holler for the deck crew. When you enter the cockpit, first buckle up your seatbelt! Then turn on the generator (via the front console), check the warning monitors (on the right console), and use the monitor toggles (front console again) to switch to systems check mode. (Note that the upper limit of your thruster output is governed by the throttle lever on the left armrest.) The throttle pedal functions like a car's accelerator. A mysterious "index sub-console" dangles off the right console.įinally, there are the two foot pedals - brake on the left, throttle on the right. Additional side consoles are attached to the armrests these contain controls for communications and external monitor modes (on the left), drive/fuel system mode selectors, and warning monitors (on the right). The left armrest also sports a throttle lever, which seems to function something like a gear shift for the thrusters. Each side has a sliding control stick - I think the right is for weapons, and the left for steering, but there may be some functional overlap - plus a row of ten buttons for manually activating the apogee motors. The left and right armrests of the seat sport almost identical controls. The front monitor console bears, left to right, generator starter switches a threat warning panel and monitor toggle switches. In between are a set of sensor mode selectors. The top monitor console includes two smaller screens - a rear-view monitor and a communications monitor (on the left and right sides respectively). The front and top monitors sport small control consoles, and the other instruments are built into the seat or its side consoles. The cockpit consists of a seat and four monitor panels - front, top, left, and right. The diagram is based on the latter-model Zeon cockpit used in Gundam 0080 (and the manual as a whole uses the Gelgoog Jaeger as its example mobile suit). Even in combat, most of the mobile suit's functions are computer-controlled as a result, even a grade-schooler could operate it.Ī diagram calls out the major controls in the mobile suit cockpit. The sticks control the flight direction, and also house the trigger and weapon selector, while the foot pedals provide throttle and braking functions. Most of the mobile suit's critical functions are handled by the control sticks and foot pedals. Although there's a dedicated rear-view display, you'll get an automatic verbal warning if an enemy gets behind you, and you can then use the controls on the left console to put the rear-view image up on the main monitor. Thanks to Minovsky interference, you can only get visuals over short distances after that, it's voice only. The communications monitor on the top console is used to communicate with the deck crew and operators aboard your carrier ship. (You're warned not to forget to protect the torso, where you're actually sitting.) The images on the four main monitors are derived from the 12 cameras distributed around the mobile suit's body, to present the external world as if you were sitting in its head. Paraphrased from "Entertainment Bible 1: MS Encylopedia, One Year War Edition"Īn introduction establishes that, yes, this is the cockpit of the Gelgoog Jaeger. In Mad Max: Fury Road, Furiosa was played by Charlize Theron, serving as the top imperator and driver for the central villain Immortan Joe, leader of the War Boys and ruler of the Citadel located in the wastelands that were once Australia. Its worth mentioning that some games Ive tested have basically no stutter (DOOM, mad max). The vehicles run the gamut from the massive War Rig tanker truck to the modified 1973 XB Ford Falcon coupe called the Razor Cola. For example, in explaining what the War Rig tanker is all about, the auction house writes: "Mutant lovechild of semi-trailer and hot rod, twin V8s end to end, six-wheel-drive, eighteen-wheeled leviathan charged with the barter of fluids and firearms that binds the three city-states of the Wasteland in tenuous alliance." For the Jag Flamer convoy car, the auction listing description reads: "The sandblasted and shiny chassis speaks of construction once upon a time in GasTown, but it has now found fame as part of Furiosa's convoy: such is recycling in the shifting sands of the Wasteland." In 2008 Ian came up with the idea of installing a V12 Twin Six. The original vehicle was built by Ian 'Elvis' Davis from Rod Bods Downunder. The vehicle is also referred as 'Convoy 1' in production documents.
